To have people actively use our platform as a space for creativity, innovation and the flexibility to act on their own priorities, is what got us to Cannes Lions. We represented our creative skill-sharing culture and more specifically, our case in mobilizing 50% of our digital community into active volunteers. The conversation was about whether we leveraged social media for mass destruction or mass construction. We talked about the power of authentic storytelling, in other words truth-telling, to amplify our vision and drive people from content to action. We shared success stories, many before and after behaviors, showing the incremental impact volunteers have on their communities. The biggest take away was that YOU turn The Volunteer Circle into a force for good. Together, we build a culture that can move mountains.
