Description: MACAM is looking to enhance the visitors’ experience. Joining the MACAM team will provide you with a proper training for guided tours, knowledge about Lebanese art heritage, and a chance to be working in one of the most exciting museums in Lebanon, which holds one of the richest permanent collections of Lebanese art. You would benefit the most of this experience if you are: - Outgoing and enjoy openly interacting with people. - Comfortable working with all ages groups from young children to adults. - Organized and efficient with daily tasks. When we do not have visitors, we focus our attention on our archive. You will also be trained as an archivist and will help us is digitizing precious material about our heritage so that I can be more accessible to researchers, educators, or anyone who has an interest in Lebanese art.
Experience: Fine arts, archeology, hospitality, museum studies, art history, and literature graduates are great candidates for this position. No matter your background, an interest in art is a must! You will quickly learn a lot about our rich art heritage here at MACAM.
